In 1947, Jackie Robinson was approached by Branch Rickey. He is the owner of the Brooklyn Dodgers,He wanted Jackie to play for his team. Jackie faced problems during his years as a rookie, He was taunted by other players, the viewers at the game, and the local newspaper. Jackie did not fight back but, was able to impress everyone.
